MISSIONS
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
God has commanded His people to take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world. United Baptist Church has a passion for world wide missions, and we partner with over two dozen missionaries at home and abroad. Ministries within our missions network also include the support of evangelists, new church plants, and local church support ministries.
Every fall we have Missions Conference, which encourages our entire church to maintain a heart for missions here in Springfield as well as throughout the world. During the Missions Conference several missionaries visit and share their specific field of ministry. The month ends with our Faith Promise Giving in which our members commit, by faith, to financially support our missions program.
